The global impact of the corona-virus on everyday life reminds me of the book Who Moved My Cheese, written by Spencer Johnson. It is a profound little book and a light-hearted parable about how we respond to change.

This pandemic is affecting us at all levels, physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, spiritually, socially. It has the power to bring the best out in us, and also the worst because it forces us out of our comfort zones.

Even though it may not seem like it at all at the moment, being forced out of your comfort zone is the greatest blessing of all.

This is not something affecting just you or me. Everybody is affected! We are all in this together. This calls for appreciating our connectedness and even if we are not physically connecting, we can stay connected via technology.

How we respond to this pandemic, is the make or break for every one of us. What I am referring to is the meaning we give to this. Because the meaning you give it, determines how you respond to it and that may have far-reaching consequences.

Fighting this or rebelling against it, will only serve to evoke a state of fear or anger that invites you to do things you will regret later. What we fear most is the unknown, not having certainty about what is going to happen. The thing is, we have no idea what is going to happen, but one thing we do know is that this will pass too.

Instead of fearing the unknown, see it as your friend of possibilities. It is in the unknown that we connect with Infinite Intelligence, God, Source, or the Universe.

That means to switch from thinking worst-case scenarios of the known, to best-case scenarios of the unknown.

Because what you think about now, what you pay attention to, will determine your energy vibration and you will attract experiences that match your energy vibration.

So, what do you choose? What do you want to welcome into your life and business?

Here are some ideas to approach this pandemic so that you come out soaring on the other side starting now.

Acceptance, Appreciation and Create a New Future.

First of all, accepting that this is happening and everything that comes with it, is the best way to handle this.

It is what it is and the more you accept this, the more at peace you feel and that allows you to focus your attention on how to make this work for you, instead of against you.

Next, is what does this event inspire you to appreciate about it? You may for the first time in a long time, have the opportunity to do things you haven’t had time for.

This may inspire you to step back and look at your work or your business and make the changes you have been dreaming of.  That you have put on the back burner until now because you have been too busy to pay attention to it.  Perhaps you have been thinking of a change in career or taking your business online.

Now you have the opportunity to flesh it out, do research and create a plan of action to finally make it happen.

Spending time at home will inspire you to appreciate your family and to appreciate connecting with each other. It may give you and your partner the opportunity to have an open conversation about how to move forward in your life.

This pandemic has forced us all to appreciate how precious life is and to refocus on the things that matter most to us. Let’s face it, we easily take the good we have in our life for granted and we neglect the things we hold dear.

That inspires us to want to spend more time with our families instead of having to, as is the case now. It inspires us to think creatively how that can happen.

Dreaming up new ideas of working, or a whole new vision for your business and life is a great opportunity to take advantage of.  What’s important here is to believe this is possible and to trust that the Universe will conspire to make this your reality. That means to let go of control.


It doesn’t matter that the Corona Virus or any future or past event has moved your cheese. What does matter is how you respond to it and to know that it is in your power to co-create a whole new reality with the Universe.

You just need to trust that all is well and everything is working out for your highest good. You need to train your brain to focus on what makes you feel good in order to continuously raise your energy vibration.
